Nekron and Taxes
Think your taxes are complicated? Stop and think a moment about Booster Gold, the world's least altruistic super hero, and his income derived entirely from public sponsorships. With no secret identity (the IRS recognizes Booster as a legal alien named "Booster Gold"), it's not like he can hide any cash in his other clothes. Presumably Booster has an unseen agent and accountant. Hopefully they are more honest than his first manager, Dirk Davis, who embezzled Booster's multi-billion fortune in the late 1980s when he turned traitor against the entire human race. Good help is so hard to find.

New Release: Booster Gold #31
Booster Gold, Volume 2, #31 hits stands today. This is the last Dan Jurgens' written or drawn issue for the foreseeable future. (Apologies to tiggerpete, who is certainly disappointed that it was not written by Geoff Johns. Keep a stiff upper lip, 'pete, your day will come again.) Buy it and make Skeets happy.

2010 Eisner Award Nominees
It was revealed last week that DC Comics is the publisher with the most 2010 Eisner Award nominations, and Booster Gold fairs better than usual. Former Booster Gold writer Geoff Johns and his latest baby, Blackest Night (which includes minor appearances by Booster Gold), were both among the nominees. The Brave and the Bold #28 was nominated as the best single issue of the year, no doubt because Booster Gold appears on the DC Nation page in that issue. Listen up, artists and writers: you want to be nominated for Eisner Awards? Include Booster Gold in your work!

Ego Booster
It's immature and lame and can be very NSFW, but I'm linking to Meme Generator's Ego Booster anyway, because I can't stop playing with it. So sue me.
To balance my kharma, Boosterrific has been updated to include the 1992-93 DC Comics AIDS PSAs. Thanks to Shawn Baston to pointing out this hole in Boosterrific's comprehensive Booster coverage, and thanks to PoliteDissent.com for pointing out the variations.
