Booster Gold Unlimited
Start your week with Skeets! Check out cooltoyreview.com's images of the latest Justice League Unlimited Skeets figure and its accompanying JLU Booster Gold. Released late last year, this figure is a vast improvement over the miscolored original JLU Booster figure.

Call Dad
Earlier this month, Erin commented on a panel from Time Masters #2 (1990) that has in retrospect become something of an Easter Egg. The observation was so amusing, that I thought I'd bring it to the attention of a larger audience. That panel contains the following note tacked on a bulletin board behind Rip Hunter:
Of course what makes the note so amusing is that in the panel, Rip Hunter happens to be on the telephone with Booster Gold.
Two decades would pass before Hunter was revealed to be Booster's son in Booster Gold, Volume 2, #1,000,000. As Erin said, "See, he's always known about future events before readers." Now that's some retroactive continuity I can get behind! Everyone remember to call your dad and wish him a Happy Father's Day this weekend. (And thanks for bringing this to our attention, Erin!)

The Internet Loves Lists!
When a blogger has nothing else to do, he makes a list post. I don't know why, but I'm not going to fight nature on this. Instead, I'll make a list of lists that include Booster Gold.
- iFanboy.com presents a list of the 5 worst Giffen-era JLI fashion moments. All things being equal, Booster's 80s fashion was considerably better than his 90s fashion, which included bolo ties and cutoff sweatshirts. Ugh.
- egotvonline.com provides a list of 10 obscure DC movie-ready properties that should have been adapted prior to Jonah Hex. I love Elongated Man as much as any other Gingold drinker, but I'm not sure that America is quite ready for his wiggling nose.
- mytopdozen.com proposes the 12 best dc comics characters who can fly. Seriously. I include this list because its very existence makes me giggle. Thank you internet.

No New Comics? Turn on the TV.
It seems like the first time in weeks that something Booster Gold related hasn't been released on New Comic Book Day. Of course, the new Batman Beyond series debuts today, but it is unlikely to contain any Booster Gold references. So what's a fan to do with no new comic books? Since Batman Beyond began as a television show, it seems natural to turn to television, of course.
Surely by now everyone has heard that Geoff Johns has a live action Blue Beetle in the works. Hearing reports that Geoff Johns tweeted the news would sound like an April Fool's joke if this weren't June. But here it is. If Jonah Hex can get a movie and Blue Beetle can get a pilot, could we be one step closer to a live action Booster Gold? Finally there's a good reason to buy an HDTV.
UPDATE: Screen caps of the Blue Beetle pilot are up at DC's The Source blog. The DC blog also has a bit of info on the new, black Aqualad created specifically for the planned Young Justice cartoon. TV is the place to be for DC! (I apologize for the previous sentence. I don't know what I was thinking.)
