Remembering Black (and Gold) Tuesday
Eighty-four years ago today, the New York Stock Exchange experienced a then-record volume of transactions (16,410,030 shares traded). The aftermath of the market crash launched the world into the Great Depression.

While the Black Tuesday crash did mean the ruin of many a fortune, anyone who knew their history and had access to a time machine could make quite a few bucks by buying while the market was historically low. Does that sound like any Corporate Crusaders we know?

It's a Longshot
Today's fan art pairs Booster Gold and Marvel's alternate-universe television star Longshot.
"Little Friends - Booster Gold and Longshot" is one of many stylistic rendering of comic book heroes in Darren Rawlings "Little Friends" series. You can find more "Little Friends" (and much, much more) in his online gallery at rawlsy.deviantart.com or his blog at rawlsy.blogspot.com.

What's for Breakfast?
Booster Gold made an appearance in a Smallville Season 11 #12 earlier this month, and I missed it! Thankfully, first-class Booster booster Shawn Baston took me to task for my omission.

Booster Gold Cereal. If it's good enough for Lois Lane, it's good enough for the rest of us!

Halloween Will Rot Your Teeth
I suspect that Booster Gold goes trick-or-treating as "Booster Gold." No other costume would be good enough.
Last week's poll question: Which costume would you suggest Booster Gold wear for Halloween? (41 votes)
With Halloween two weeks away, it's time to stock up on candy for the neighborhood kids. What do you think Booster Gold would be giving out to the tykes knocking on his door?

Old New Releases: Rocket Girl
If I told you I'd found a comic where a would-be hero from the future traveled back in time to 1986 to use a high-tech suit and flight powers to fight crime, what comic do you think I might be talking about? No, it's not Booster Gold.
That premise familiar to Booster Gold fans is the foundation for Rocket Girl, a new comic by Brandon Montclaire and Amy Reeder. Teenage future-cop Dayoung Johansson travels back in time to investigate past crimes that may be responsible for disturbing her utopian present. It's hard to tell where this is going from the first issue, but it feels to me a little like Top Ten meets Time Cop.
The first issue was released two weeks ago, but you can download a digital copy at ImageComics.com. You can find a preview on ComicBookResources.com Fans of time travel stories — and Booster Gold fans looking for something to read these days — might want to take a look.
