Giving Thanks for Popular Media
Booster Gold has appeared in two recent publications, one printed, one virtual.
1. Booster Gold appears as a comparison to the vigilante Phoenix Jones in the October 24, 2011, issue of Sports Illustrated magazine. Booster is seen alongside Black Lightning, Wildcat, and Marvel's Northstar. Sports Illustrated has a reported print circulation of 3 million readers and an Alexa ranking as the 53rd most trafficked site on the internet. This means that Booster has just been exposed to a huge market of sports fans! (This appearance noted by Shawn Baston.)
2. Booster Gold is used as a comparison to the television personality Ian Alleyne in Karel McIntosh's November 14, 2011, article appearing on Outlish.com. Booster is used as a counterpoint to Batman in a discussion of Alleyne's motives on his television show Crime Watch. Outlish.com is a virtual magazine targeted at the youth of Trinidad and Tabago that Alexa ranks in the top 500,000 sites on the internet. This means that Booster Gold has just been exposed to a growing international market!
By comparison, Alexa ranks Boosterrific.com only in the top 8 million of sites on the internet. So we'll take every bit of help we can get spreading the good word of Booster Gold, thanks!
