He Gets High on You
I'm thinking pretty seriously about abandoning Twitter altogether, especially in the wake of the company adopting the Dogecoin icon as its logo. I tire of the new management's shenanigans.
And I have to say I'm going to miss it when I go. Where else could I see something like this?
If you're not familiar with "Tom Sawyer," go listen to it on Youtube.com
This is pretty fitting from just about every angle. Rush's sci-fi loving, envelope-pushing progressive-rock sounds (and mysterious lyrics) encapsulate the spirt of Booster Gold, just as Booster himself embodies Mark Twain's literary archetype of the (usually) well-intentioned but mischievous All-American Boy. In hindsight, it's an obvious pairing.
If you need me, Twitter, I'll be in the garage listening to my 1981 Rush Moving Pictures album on 8-track. Newer isn't always better.

Brusha Brusha Brusha
In 2009, Booster Gold endorsed Booster Paste. In 2012, he endorsed Booster Cream Toothpaste. Ten years later, he's back in your mouth, as seen in Nightwing #88!
words by Tom Taylor, art by Bruno Redondo, Adriano Lucas, Andworld Design
What is that? "-esh-dent"? Oooh, the tease! I need to know so that I can buy some to put in *my* face!
Thanks to Booster booster Shaw Baston for spotting this panel.

Brusha Brusha Brusha
Booster Gold has endorsed a lot of products over the years, including sodas, candies, and coffees. Those products are terrible on teeth. It figures that Booster has also put his name on at least two brands of toothpaste. The Corporate Crusader gets you coming and going!
I have a dental appointment today, which got me thinking about Booster Gold's million-dollar smile. Does Booster use his own toothpaste? Does he need to, or has 25th-century science created the cavity-proof tooth? If they can laminate the tongue to aid dieting, can they laminate teeth to prevent decay?
Whatever Booster does, it works. His teeth always look great.

Snubbed!
In last week's Justice League #18, the team considers new members. Their short list of candidates includes a veritable who's who of pre-Flashpoint Leaguers, but there's one who stands out by his absence. That's right, I'm talking about Booster Gold.
I have to assume that Booster's omission is purely because he is currently lost in time. There's no denying that candidates Black Canary, Black Lightning, Firestorm, Nightwing and Zatanna are all overly qualified to be Leaguers. Vixen certainly deserves a shot at New 52 redemption after the way she was recently mistreated in the pages of Justice League International. But there is no way that even Batman himself could ever convince Booster that some Joanie-come-lately calling herself "Goldrush" is going to take his rightful place at the big table!
So who is this female "Goldface"-impersonator? Is she just another gold digger, out for one of those coveted Justice League chairs with her logo on the back? Goldrush, you're going to be sorry when Goldstar comes looking for her Justice League invitation that you stole!
