How It's Made
Today's costume may be over a year old, but that doesn't make it any less deserving of our attention and admiration.
This is the costume that thomdave wore to Comic-Con International in 2011. Thomdave has posted several more pics of this awesome Smallville-inspired costume in the League of Heroes Yuku.com Forum. Better still, he gives us a breakdown of how it was made!

Superman Never Made Any Money
It was announced back in April that Cartoon Network's Robot Chicken would have a "DC Comics Special" in their upcoming sixth season. Yesterday, we finally got a quick look at the episode by way of IGN.com. Surprise, surprise, it includes an appearance of Booster Gold (at about 1:34).
So mark your calendars! Booster Gold may not have any comic appearances scheduled through November, but he'll be on your TV this September 9th. (Thanks to Russ Burlingame at ComicBook.com for calling this to my attention.)
UPDATE 09/07/12: According to Vaneta Rogers' Newsarama.com interview with Robot Chicken writer Kevin Shinick, Booster Gold's speaking part has been cut from the episode. You may or may not still see Booster in the episode, but he won't be opening his big mouth. Thanks to MetalWoman for pointing out this disappointing news.

A Match Made in Comic Heaven
Last month, Super-Team Family ...The Lost Issues gave us Skeet's new team. With the JLI on hiatus and Skeets going his own way, it was only a matter of time before Booster sought out new company, too.
If DC and Marvel can't get their acts together to give us comics this good, at least we have Super-Team Family ...The Lost Issues to make everything right in the world.

Super Singing Friends
The following blog post has been brought to you by the Super Friends of DC Comics fan blogging: Shag of Firestorm fan site FirestormFan.com pointed out this weekend that Lia of Flash fan site SpeedForce.org posted a video last week from Cartoon Network's Mad that features Booster Gold. (Sometimes tracking Booster Gold, like life, is all about who you know.)
That song sounds to me like something you might hear on TMZ. That's probably fitting for a song including a part by the celebrity-seeking Booster Gold.
For the record, that video, posted to YouTube by Vitouliss, was broadcast in the MAD episode "Al Pacino and the Chipmunks / That's What Super Friends Are For" that originally aired February 27, 2012.

Fighting Mad
Pretty cool, huh? This sprite may make fans of older 2D fighting games a bit nostalgic. Some of you may remember DC's Sega Genesis/Super Nintendo fighting game, Justice League Task Force, pitting the likes of Batman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman against one another and the forces of Darkseid. That game was released in 1995 and did not include Booster Gold. (At the time, Booster was a member of Extreme Justice.) Of course, if Booster had been in the game, it would have been too short. No one can stand up against Booster Gold.
Therefore, this is a custom sprite that must have been created since 2006, the year Booster took off his collar. (Just a guess, but it may have been created for use in M.U.G.E.N., a customizable fighting engine.) Whether you like 2D fighting games or just looking at DC heroes in action, you can find other custom-made DC sprites in afrikabambaataassf's public Photobucket profile here.
