New Release: Harley Quinn 67
I'm not going to lie and tell you I understand what was happening between Booster Gold and Harley Quinn in last month's Harley Quinn #66. I have even less idea what's going on in today's Harley Quinn #67.
What I do know is that with art by Dan Jurgens, Norm Rapmund, and Hi-Fi, it's going to look great.
Harley's right. Martian Manhunter's funeral was in second issue.
If you want to see more, Batman-News.com has the preview.
Thanks to Rob Snow for that news.
By the way, since you're already on your way to your LCS, consider looking on the back issue racks for the most recent issue of Action Comics. The variant "DCeased" cover to issue #1016 included a zombiefied Booster Gold. I missed that when the issue was released 2 weeks ago. Thankfully, Logan Peterson didn't. Good spot, Logan.
Buy these issues and make Skeets happy.

Born Again Again
Newsarama.com has DC Comics' December solicitations, and I'm sorry to report that Booster Gold continues to be the one character from Heroes in Crisis who hasn't gotten his own title. What's up with that, DC?
It's not all bad news, however. DC has confirmed a new reprint of the early Justice League International issues.
JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL BOOK ONE: BORN AGAIN TP
written by KEITH GIFFEN, J.M. DeMATTEIS, and JOHN OSTRANDER
art by KEVIN MaGUIRE, KEITH GIFFEN, LUKE McDONNELL and others
cover by KEVIN MAGUIRE and TERRY AUSTIN
In these 1980s tales, find out what happens when Batman, Superman, and the Justice League face a galactic invasion fleet known as the Cluster, exchange harsh words with Lobo, track Mister Miracle back to Apokolips, and then battle yet another invasion fleet! Collects Justice League #1-6, Justice League International #7-17, Justice League Annual #1, Justice League International Annual #2, and Suicide Squad #13.
ON SALE January 15, $39.99 US, 552 PAGES
Those are a lot of great comics. If you haven't read these issues — and even if you have — you should consider picking up this collection using modern printing techniques. Despite what Dan DiDio says, those early Justice League International stories are great comics.
Speaking of Heroes in Crisis spin-offs, Booster booster Logan alerts us to an appearance in today's releases.
I was afforded a sneak-peak of Flash Forward #1 at my store, and I can report that Booster makes an appearance in the issue. It's a brief one, but it's Booster! :)
Always good to know Booster's coming. Thanks, Logan.

This Week in Panels: Bros Before Heroes
Booster Gold appeared in two comics this week. The one I didn't mention on Wednesday was Old Lady Harley #3. It seems that in the future, Booster will have his own Las Vegas casino.
art by Inaki Miranda and Eva De La Cruz
(Thanks again to Logan Peterson for the spot.)
The other one was, as you are no doubt aware, was Heroes in Crisis #4. And while I have mentioned it already this week, it deserves a repeat post because of this panel alone.
art by Clay Mann and Tomeu Morey
Ah, Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. My heroes.
We still don't know what the shared history of these two is in the Rebirth DCnU. (It can't be time spent in the Justice League.) But who cares.
The friendship of Booster Gold and Blue Beetle cannot be destroyed by Maxwell Lord, Superboy punches, Doctor Manhattan ex machina or any other continuity-destroying device that DC throws at them.

Old Releases: Drowned Earth and Nuclear Winter
Logan Peterson has called me out on my failure to mention that in addition to Heroes in Crisis #3, Booster Gold also appeared last week in two additional comics!
First was Aquaman/Justice League: Drowned Earth Special #1, where our hero can bee seen among the Leaguers admiring the new Aquaman statue.
Second, Booster is barely visible on the dance floor in the story "The Birds of Christmas Past, Present, and Future" in DC Nuclear Winter Special #1.
As you can see, both were cameo appearances rather than the starring role Booster has in HiC, but any Booster is good Booster! Thanks, Logan.

Magic 8 Ball
Logan Peterson calls out attention to a Booster Gold cameo appearance released earlier this week!
I spotted this in Adventures of the Super Sons #4. Could that be a possible future version of our hero glimpsed in Rex's Hypercube?
(For those of you not reading Super Sons, know that Rex Luthor is an alien who admires Earth's villains so much, he plans to use the interdimensional power of the Hypercube to make himself the greatest villain of all.)
Another good spot, Logan! Booster boosters everywhere thank you.
