Happy Birthday, Booster Gold!
Jon Michael "Booster" Carter was born on December 29, 2442, which makes today his -428th birthday.
Congratulations, Booster! Here's to 428 more.
(Since the last time I ran this pic, I've discovered that it was created by Annette Price, a specialist in decorating superhero cakes. It's still Boosterrific!)

Happy Birthday, Adam Beechen
Everyone say "Happy Birthday" to Adam Beechen, longtime writer of DC Animated Universe comics.
Beechen hasn't written many Booster Gold stories, but he did feature our favorite hero in 2004's Justice League Unlimited #2, where a fresh-face Booster Gold learned to let Superman cheat at cards. (Talk about role reversal!)
Thanks, Adam!

Happy Birthday, Dan Jurgens!
He brought you Agent Liberty, Risk, Waverider, Doomsday, and Cyborg Superman. But most importantly, he's the creator of Skeets and someone called Booster Gold. Who else could it be but Dan Jurgens?
Jurgens celebrates his 55th birthday today, and he'll no doubt be celebrating by slaving away at the drawing board for future issues of Futures End or maybe pages of September's Booster Gold one-shot. But you can celebrate by bidding on some of Jurgens' old work, specifically this poster from his run on Justice League:
That rare poster from 1992, drawn by Dan Jurgens and inked by Rick Burnett, is currently listed for sale on eBay.com. The auction ends Tuesday, so act fast. You don't want to have to wait another few decades before you get another shot at it.
Thanks for all the hard work over the years, Dan! Here's to 55 more.

Happy Birthday, Steve Mattsson
It's been nearly 6 months since Booster Gold appeared in a DCnU-continuity book. This isn't the first time Booster has clocked out for an extended period. Back in 1997, Booster made only 2 DCU appearances, one of which was in Superboy and the Ravers #8.
Blue Beetle and Booster Gold made a cameo appearance tring to pick up one of the Ravers in Guy Gardner's bar, Warrior's. It may not have been their finest moment, but it was certainly one of their funniest.
This classic Blue and Gold moment was brought to you in part by Ravers co-writer Steve Mattsson, who celebrates his 54th birthday today. Mattsson made a name for himself in the 1980s with Boris the Bear, a title known for its scything commentary of contemporary pop-culture trends. That's a good pedigree for someone writing for Booster Gold!
Happy Birthday, Mr. Mattsson. Celebrate with a "Loose Cannon" on us!

Happy Birthday, Jimmy Palmiotti!
All Booster Gold fans should take the time to wish Jimmy Palmiotti a happy birthday!
Palmiotti and his writing partner, Justin Gray, are the only writers at DC who have given Booster Gold anything to do in the DCnU in 2013. Maybe if we're really nice to him on his birthday, he will arrange for Booster to return to All-Star Western where we can all find out whether Booster and Jonah Hex can work out their differences. (If we're really, really nice, maybe we can get Skeets back in the Old West, too!)
So thank you, Mr. Palmiotti. May you have many more.
