HIS STORY: Skeets shows Superman Booster Gold's history, specifically Booster's encounter with his father, Jon, in the locker room of Gotham University. This is the first time this aspect of Booster's origin has been seen in the Rebirth-era DC Universe, but it is identical to panels and dialog seen in Booster Gold Volume 2, #0, released in 2008.
Boosterrific Review: Great stuff here for lifetime Booster Gold fans. Dan Jurgens takes us on a long-awaited trip through Booster's past here, including reunions with his father, his mother, and his old foe Broderick. "Booster Shot" has very much been about family, both for Superman and Booster, and it's nice to see that everyone will get some time to heal (physically and emotionally) between fist fights.
Boosterrific Rating: Boosterrific!
