ANNOTATIONS

"Week 50, Day 4." This panel highlights the battle between Black Adam and the Doom Patrol in Pisa, Italy that Booster Gold briefly interrupted was seen in greater length in World War III: Book Two.

Page 14, panel 4
"Week 50, Day 7." Booster Gold arrives in China, at the site of the DC Universe's battle with Black Adam, interrupting Steel III and Steel IV from firing a missile into the fray. Instead, Booster steals the missile for his own use. During this brief appearance, Booster's costume appears damaged, though that should no longer present much of an obstacle to Booster if he has gained the ability to travel through time and space at will. It may or may not be significant that Booster's costume was damaged on the right shoulder during his scuffle with Supernova in 52 Week Fifteen.

Page 24, panel 5
Booster Gold and Rip Hunter arrive at T.O. Morrow's Rocky Mountain lair shortly after Morrow has discovered the secret that the Red Tornado has been holding since his voicebox returned to Earth in 52 Week Five. First appearing in Flash, Vol. 1, #143, Thomas Oscar Morrow is a scientist who uses television images of the future to reverse engineer technology to use in his criminal endeavors. Like Booster Gold, Morrow uses future technology and knowledge to impact the present. While Booster uses his knowledge for good and has been a member of the Justice League, Morrow uses his knowledge purely for personal gain and is often at odds with the Justice League. Among other accomplishments, Morrow is known for his construction of the Red Tornado's robot body. Booster and Hunter's business with Morrow will not be revealed until 52 Week Fifty-One.

REVIEWS

Boosterrific Review: The story of Black Adam in 52 comes to a conclusion in an event too big for the pages of the series that spawned it. World War III may begin in this issue, but the full details of the week-long war are contained in its own mini-series. (Truth be told, this is the only "must own" issue in the World War III mini-series.) This story is essentially an excuse for a global slugfest. The art is a little uneven, but that's always to be expected when so many characters are involved and should not be considered as a reason to avoid this issue.

I think it's Blue Beetle III and Steel III(?)... [No, that is definately John Henry Irons and his neice Natasha as Steel III and IV, respectively. -- Boosteriffic]
