I'm not sure how I feel about BN. I have bought the main title but not the tie-ins (expect BG of course). It is popular but widely panned. It seems epic and relevant in a way Final Crisis did not, but it is also light bright silly. My take on it is how it affects death in the DCU from this point forward. A satisfiying answer will increase my favorability. Otherwise, I may feel like I wasted $24.

Doesn't that sort of sum up all of DC's recent event-driven "specials"? It sells well because we're all slavishly devoted to the juvenile equivalent to violent soap operas, not because of any great story-telling ability or brilliant sales strategy. But then, I'm jaded, and, as I said, I hate zombie stories.

as zombie stories go, I thought it was fun and (as long as you read the main title and the GL books) it was well written, do I wish all of my favorite people came back? yeah, but I guess to quote Pet Semetary "sometimes, Dead is better" I am excited for Brightest Day, because I enjoyed Blackest Night, and Geoff Johns is infallable to me, he is DC's pope.........kinda

I am having trouble posting from my laptop. Any suggestions as to what could be wrong? The desk top post's just fine. I also posted my BD #30 review from the laptop. Thanks!

The only major differences between them is that I run Firefox on the laptop with the FTP plugin and Explorer on the desktop without an FTP. Does that help?

Harry, I just ran a bunch of tests in Firefox 2.5, IE 7 & IE 8, and while I did find many oddities and inconsistencies with the site (ie8 is better than 1e7, but it's still a nightmare for CSS), I did not find any browser issues that should prevent comment submission. I do note, however, that I am unable to comment to blogs on Google's blogger.com in Firefox, so there may very well be a security setting in the browser that is preventing the commenting. The script does check IP addresses of the referring server to prevent known spam and troll IPs, so it's possible that is the problem if you are masking your IP address with a plug-in. That's the only thing that comes to mind.

I ws reading a little of that, and it seems they have some Blue and Gold slash fic in there too, so if you are into that kind of thing....there you go, me? I think I'll stick with Boosteriffic.

You know that no site devoted to the Corporate Crusader could be a Communist state, right, tiggerpete? Monopolies are the goal, but competition is encouraged! You can have your Boosterrific and your slash fic, too, if you're into that sort of thing. And if you're not, well, you can be sure that until DC decides to include it in the canon, you'll encounter no Booster on Beetle smooches here. Other than that previous sentence. (Sorry.)
