Fashionably Late Super Powers
McFarlane Toys has announced the latest additions to their line of updated Super Power Collection action figures, including Manga Batman, Brainiac, Green Lantern Kilowog, and, most importantly Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) and Blue Beetle's Aerial Mobile Headquarters, better known as The Bug!
Those are all great, but McFarlane has buried the lede. If you look closely at the Bug's packaging, you just might notice another figure that has not been released or even announced.
There's no way McFarlane made a Booster Gold figure just to take pictures for the Bug's packaging, right? It seems a safe assumption that we'll be getting a McFarlane Toys Booster Gold Super Powers Collection figure sooner or later.
Blue Beetle and his Bug are available for pre-order via links at McFarlane.com. You might want to go ahead and buy both so you'll be ready with your own "Blue And" whenever Gold finally arrives.
Thanks to eagle-eyed Jake for bringing this to our attention.

Uh Oh Spaghettios
It appears there was some data loss on the host server, and I've lost everything since Tuesday morning. Which, thankfully isn't much, as I haven't even gotten around to adding Action Comics #1057 to the database yet. So maybe it's a good thing that it's been a slow month for Booster Gold.
[For future reference, the lost post was a link to a custom Super Powers Collection-styled Booster Gold and Goldstar action figure by SuperPoweredCustoms at www.etsy.com.]
Here in the wee hours of Friday morning, I'm still finding a few glitches in the web hosting services. I'm not sure what all this means exactly (hardware failure? user error? malicious action?), but rather than risk losing another post, I'm just going to backup the database again and call it a week. See you Monday, I hope!

New Old Release: Green Arrow Black Canary TPB
Back before the DCU was overwritten by the DCnU, and before "The Arrowverse" was a thing on TV, Green Arrow and Black Canary got married in the appropriately titled Green Arrow and Black Canary Wedding Special in 2007. Everyone who was anyone was there, which means that of course Booster Gold was there — in a strictly non-speaking cameo appearance.
Ok, well, technically, as we now know (but Booster didn't at the time), Booster didn't really attend the marriage as there wasn't any actual marriage in that issue. In follow-up issues of Green Arrow/Black Canary, it was soon revealed that the Green Lantern who exchanged vows in The Wedding Special was an imposter. But that's sort of par for the course in the star-crossed Arrow/Canary relationship.
Someone at DC must love doomed weddings, because this week The Wedding Special, previously collected in The Wedding Album, is getting collected for a second time in Green Arrow/Black Canary: Till Death Do They Part.
As you can see, even if the unions don't last, memories of weddings are eternal. That's why you should get yourself in as many wedding photos as possible. Consider it another good lesson learned from Booster Gold comics.

Zeta Hates My Comic Collection
Have you read Batman Beyond #48 yet? If not, that's your assignment this weekend.
If you don't want to go to your Local Comic Shop for some reason — like, maybe you're still bailing out from a tropical storm that reached hundreds of miles inland like I am — you can always buy the digital comic at comixology.com (assuming your power has been restored).
Judging from the response to last week's poll, most of you are cool with that option.
Last week's poll question: Should the Boosterrific database include comics existing only in digital formats? (28 votes)
I have to admit that digital comics do have some unique positives. You certainly don't have to worry about a leaking roof or flooded basement — or, if you're on the left coast, a raging forest fire — damaging your digital comic collection. That's worth considering in 2020 and beyond.

New Release: Heroes in Crisis HC
If you're in your Local Comic Shop today, perhaps picking up the latest copy of Dial H For Hero, you might find the new Heroes in Crisis hardcover collection with Booster Gold on the cover available for $29.99.
The solicitation gives no indication that there's any new content in this one that wasn't published in the nine individual issues that it collects. Therefore, if you bought the floppies, there's no reason to pick up this one unless you like hard covers.
