Page 8, panel 8
Booster Gold flies into action alongside several other members of the Justice League. Others pictured include Big Barda, Blue Beetle, Blue Devil, Crimson Fox, Dr. Fate II, Elongated Man, Fire, General Glory, Gypsy, Martian Manhunter, Metamorpho, Mister Miracle, and Nuklon. These are but a small sampling of the characters actually assaulting New Olympus as it orbits Earth, but this is the only panel in this issue to include Booster Gold. It remains unclear how many other heroes or villains Booster may have encountered in this issue between the panels while fighting for the survival of the Earth.
Boosterrific Review: George Pérez is renowned for his ability to shoehorn many characters into a page, and that is certainly showcased in this issue. However, in this case, it is also a liability. So much happens in such a small space, that the resulting feeling of intimacy creates a feeling of claustrophobia, and it is frequently impossible to discern what is supposed to be happening in the action. This issue could have been much improved with a little more space.
Boosterrific Rating: Gold Standard.
