FASHION ALERT: Concluding their conversation from The Adventures of Superman #476, Booster promises Lois that he will contact "some specialists in the field" of time travel in order to help locate Superman. As Booster flies away, it is clear that the star on the back of his costume is missing, probably in an artistic oversight.

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: Lost in time, Superman joins a circus, defeats Nazi fourth columnists, and shakes the hand of F.D.R. before meeting with the ultimate deus ex machina in the DC Universe, the Spectre. There are some clever ideas and fun scenes in this issue, but nothing that really separates it from the average Superman story.

Boosterrific Rating:

Gold Standard.
