I don't have words to describe how awesome this is, so let me just show you.

That's the X-Men's Kitty Pryde (aka Shadowcat) and her sidekick Lockheed mashed-up with Booster Gold and his sidekick Skeets as imagined and drawn by artist Todd Nauck (via Twitter). He calls them "Booster Pryde & LockSkeet."

Todd has also recently imagined combos of Blue Beetle/Nightcrawler, Captain Marvel/Colossus, and Guy Gardner/Cyclops among others.

Hell, yes, I'd read that comic.

Back in May, I mentioned here on the blog that I was really taken by a Skeets knit hat worn by a cosplayer.

My friend Michael heard my plea, and as an early birthday present, he gifted me with a Skeets to call my own!

My good friend Michael Foster (a Hal Jordan fanatic) goes to DragonCon every year accompanied by his 2 gallon flask. (Michael is serious about his partying.) This year he was happy return with these pics of Booster Gold cosplayers.

Note that like Michael and his flask, these cosplayers also came in pairs.
