Ekam Steeks a Puc-c!
Sufficiently advanced technology could be indistinguishable from magic, but Booster's 25th-century tech may have met its match in Zatanna's wand.
The delightful piece above of Zatanna working her magic on Blue and Gold (and Skeets!) was drawn as a commission by Loston Wallace. You can find more of Wallace's work on his website, lostonwallace.com, or over on deviantart.com.

Make Some Room
It shouldn't really come as a shock that most of us are just in it for the Gold, the Booster Gold.
Last week's poll question: How does the new JLI compare to the original? (36 votes)
Since the end of the first JLI story is a natural occasion to switch up the roster, it's a good time to look towards the future. Some new characters will soon be available following the cancellation of their titles, it makes since that at least some of them should end up in an ensemble title like Justice League International.

Alas, Poor Skeets
It's pretty clear that the fans need some Skeets. Hopefully he and Rip Hunter are working overtime, if not to restore the DCU's history, at least the pre-Flashpoint costumes.
Last week's poll question: Why hasn't Skeets been seen yet in the DCnU? (39 votes)
With the first full adventure of the new JLI barely in the books, is it fair to start comparing it to the JLI of old? Who cares, we're doing it anyway!

Thursday Is the New Friday
This poll wasn't as widely reported as the Iowa Republican caucus, but it was far more important! It seems that character study defeats action/adventure. This must be awards season.
Last week's poll question: ( votes)
What was 2011 missing? Skeets. Let's correct that in 2012.

It's Hip to Be Square
When Booster Gold was created in 1985, Nintendo was in the process of revolutionizing home video gaming. The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) had 2 KB of video RAM and a 54 color palette.
At the time that was amazing. In 2012, it's nostalgic.
