Booster Gold Meet Booster Gold
If even die-hard Booster Gold fans won't buy comics just because Booster Gold is on the cover, who will?
Last week's poll question: Will you buy a comic just because Booster Gold is on the cover? (54 votes)
Convergence seems to be all about DC's version of Secret Wars, so which versions of Booster Gold do we want to see meet one another?
For reference, these are the Boosters I'm talking about:
-
The Alliance Booster Gold seen in Justice League America Annual #10 (1996)
- Justice Riders Booster Gold (1997)
- "Greatest Story Never Told" Booster Gold from Justice League Unlimited (2004)
- Black Booster Gold from Tangent: Superman's Reign (2008)
- Live-action Booster Gold from Smallville (2011)
- Rooster Gold (2014) of Earth-C-Minus

I Spy with My Little Eye
You guys visit more often than Google does, so I'm going to try to keep you happy.
Last week's poll question: What device do you most often use to visit Boosterrific.com? (60 votes)
If you couldn't tell from the "Movie Poster Variants" on shelves this month, DC has fallen in love with variant covers. (DC may be celebrating the 80s with Convergence, but their marketing strategy is clearly from the 90s.) But do all these alternate covers that have nothing to do with contents work to sell more comics?

Time for Change?
Well, if you feel that way about it, I'll not worry so much about my own bias against fan fiction.
Last week's poll question: Which type of fan labor do you most want to see featured in Boosterrific posts? (43 votes)
On Tuesday, Google warned me that Boosterrific.com is woefully behind the times in mobile device integration and recommended that I update the site to function more universally. The company kind of implied that if I didn't get on the stick, it was going to affect my ad revenue (all $20 of it). I don't like to admit it, but Google has a point.
The site design predates the iPhone and the ensuing smart phone revolution. Given the growing pains of the mobile device operating systems and displays, I haven't ever worried much about correcting the site for a modern audience. I know it needs some updating, but there's always seems to be something more important. Do I need to work on those revisions sooner than later?

We Hold These Tributes to Be Self-Evident
I'm willing to forgive one slip-up, Justice League 3000, but now I'm expecting even more Blue and Gold in every issue to make up for the omission!
Last week's poll question: What is your response to Booster and Beetle being solicited for Justice League 3000 15 but not appearing in it? (41 votes)
I've been thinking about my own biases in what I present here at Boosterrific. I really enjoy showing pictures of Booster Gold fan art and cosplayers, but I almost never mention Booster Gold fan fiction.
Part of that exclusion is because I don't personally read fan fiction and am reluctant to promote anything I haven't vetted fist. But maybe I'm doing a disservice to my visitors. So what do you say about it?

DC Lied to Us in the Solicitation
Funny how DC promising to publish books with long-missing characters has so many people looking to buy a bunch of comics again. It's just like 1994's Zero Hour crossover all over again!
Last week's poll question: How many of the 40 Convergence tie-in mini-series are you planning to buy? (49 votes)
First Booster shows up on the covers of Smallville and Futures End without appearing inside, and now he's wrongly solicited as appearing in Justice League 3000 #15. It's getting where I probably shouldn't give my Local Comic Shop any money until after I've read the books!
