Halloween Will Rot Your Teeth

I suspect that Booster Gold goes trick-or-treating as "Booster Gold." No other costume would be good enough.

Last week's poll question: Which costume would you suggest Booster Gold wear for Halloween? (41 votes)

Which costume would you suggest Booster Gold wear for Halloween?

With Halloween two weeks away, it's time to stock up on candy for the neighborhood kids. What do you think Booster Gold would be giving out to the tykes knocking on his door?

What to Wear?

The Irredeemable Shag! of FirestormFan.com voted for Reverb, a very, very minor DC character who was a teammate of Booster Gold on the Conglomerate. That's why we call Shag "irredeemable."

Last week's poll question: Which supporting character is most important to your enjoyment of the adventures of Booster Gold? (56 votes)

Which supporting character is most important to your enjoyment of the adventures of Booster Gold?

Since we're talking cosplaying this week, let's give a little thought to what Booster Gold should be wearing to the Justice League Halloween party this year.

The Great Anniversary Festival

On July 2, 1776, the Second Continental Congress passed Virginian Richard Henry Lee's resolution for independence from Great Britain, and thus was born the United States of America.

The adoption of the declaration of that new-found independence two days later is what we now celebrate, but the real secret of America's independence is the role that Booster Gold played in ensuring it ever happened.

Would there have been a Declaration of Independence without Booster Gold?

What really happened in Independence Hall in the summer of 1776? The world may never know.

What I'll Be Watching on TV This Weekend

This Sunday may see the biggest football game in America, but neither Baltimore Ravens' quarterback Joe Flacco nor San Francisco 49ers' quarterback Colin Kaepernick has ever thrown a pass to save the universe....

...much less an entire multi-verse!

Since the Big Game isn't until Sunday, you might want to check out DC Nation on Cartoon Network tomorrow morning at 10AM EST to pass the time. There will be a new Thunder & Lightning short, "Under the Weather," that Comics Alliance tells us will include a Booster Gold product placement! (Thanks to Morgenstern for reminding those of us who like to sleep in on Saturdays to set our DVRs.)

Enjoy the game, everybody.

Hail to the Chief

Booster Gold was introduced to the public by President Ronald Reagan.

Booster saved the life of future President George H.W. Bush.

Booster was present when President Bill Clinton eulogized Superman.

Booster never had the chance to meet President George W. Bush, as Booster's old foe/employer Lex Luthor won the election of 2000 in the DCU.

Booster hasn't yet met President Barack Obama. Fortunately for Booster, Obama is to be inaugurated into his second term today, giving Booster four more years to keep his Presidential streak alive.
