Fashion in Motion
The cosplayers you are about to see will not be new to you, but hopefully these videos of their exploits will be.
This first video is from Lumberjack Films at New York Comic Con 2012. I know Aaron Wahl and his award-winning costume have been featured here twice before, but I just thought everyone might like to hear the details and see the whole costume in action. Also, in his interview in episode 33 of the Fire and Water Podcast, Dan Jurgens said that he has never seen a Booster Gold cosplayer with a flying Skeets. Someone please get this video to Mr. Jurgens' attention.
This second video by Distractotron is an assemblage of DC cosplayers from DragonCon 2012. I know that I have shown you Shelley as Booster Gold before, but there is something to be gleaned from the sheer multitude of cosplayers assembling for this photo shoot. I know that cosplayers make up a small minority of fandom, but they really represent well. Congratulations to all involved.

Dressing Up for New York Comic Con 2012
I know you were waiting for cosplay pics from last week's New York Comic Con 2012. So here they are.
This picture was found at Kotaku.com. A man, his machine... It looks like there's love in the air. (Yes, we did meet this fellow earlier this year.)
The second picture of Bare Midriff Booster, Mister Miracle, Dr. Fate, and Bare Midriff Beetle comes by way of Uproxx.com (which credits its pic to by Steven Leung at Flickr.com). As much as I love seeing Mister Miracle, something about that mask is really giving me the creeps. But I love Booster's purse!

New Eyesores For Your Toy Shelf
New York Comic Con 2012 was this past weekend, and there was plenty to see. Too bad most of it was so ugly.
TheBlotSays.com has details on DC Collectible's upcoming Booster Gold mini-bust planned for a February 2012 release. The sculpting looks fantastic; too bad that when we finally get a Booster mini-bust from DC, I can't buy it. Giving $69.95 to DC Collectibles for that 6" bust would imply that I approved of -- or at least tolerated -- that DCnU atrocity of a costume. I don't, and I won't. (By the way, what's with that star? Is it Booster's newest logo? Ugh-ly.)
Even on a 1/48 scale model, that costume looks terrible. Obviously, DCnU Booster Gold will be in an upcoming set of Heroclix as well. Fortunately, he won't be alone. Also on display at NYCC 2012 was an appropriately Heroclix-scaled version of the late, lamented Blue Beetle's Bug airship. (Now that's something that I can endorse dropping some heavy cash on!) Fly on over to Russ Burlingame's article at ComicBook.com for more info and pics.
UPDATE 10/15/2012: Heroclix.com has a page up detailing the dial, powers, and abilities of the Booster Gold figure to be released in the Batman set next month. The Heroclix website calls this week "Blue & Gold Week," so pay attention this week for more official news about that Blue Beetle Bug seen at NYCC.
UPDATE 10/16/2012: Action Figure Insider has complete details about the bust, including the name of the sculptor, James Shoop.

How It's Made
Today's costume may be over a year old, but that doesn't make it any less deserving of our attention and admiration.
This is the costume that thomdave wore to Comic-Con International in 2011. Thomdave has posted several more pics of this awesome Smallville-inspired costume in the League of Heroes Yuku.com Forum. Better still, he gives us a breakdown of how it was made!

Dressing Up for Wonder Northwest 2012
I can't emphasize enough how popular pics of females cosplaying as Booster Gold are here at Boosterrific. Call it pandering if you like, but here's another one:
This sultry lady is NoOfCourseNot. She cosplayed as Booster Gold during Portland, Oregon's Wonder Northwest this past May. She was kind enough to put the pics (like this one, titled "Chillen like a villain," taken by her friend Jade) up on her account at Deviant Art. If you like pretty ladies dressed as anime characters, you might want to take a look.
