It should come as no surprise that Booster Gold fans would love to see Booster's creator, Dan Jurgens draw our hero's return to the DCnU.

Last week's poll question: Who do you want to see drawing ACTION 993? (46 votes)

Whoever it ends up being (even if it's Marc Campos), I'm still looking forward to it.

We know that Booster Gold will be returning to the DCU this December in Action Comics #993 and #994. We know that the book will be written by Dan Jurgens. What we don't know is who will be drawing it.

The solicitations released earlier this week repeat last week's announcement that the art team on those books will be Brett Booth (Teen Titans) and Joe Prado (Justice League). However, Booth has repeatedly denied via Twitter that he is involved.

Does this mean that Prado will be carrying the load solo? Will there be a different artist altogether on the book? Who would you like to see? Let's put it to a vote!

This week's poll question: Who do you want to see drawing ACTION 993? Please visit the Boosterrific Polls page to view results for this week's poll.

(* Note that while the solicitations indicate both issues will be drawn by Brett Booth, he has denied via Twitter that he will be the artist, calling the solicitations "a mistake". Therefore, actual artist for these issues remains unknown.)

It's been a good week for Booster Gold fans. We learned on Wednesday that the true identity of Mr. Oz isn't Booster but Kal-El's father, Jor-El . (*Whew!*) And now news that our hero will be returning from obscurity to team up with Superman in a story by Dan Jurgens? Whoo-hoo!

Thanks for this early Christmas present, DC. Extra thanks to all who called this news to my attention.

Last week, ComicBook.com got a first look at a couple of variant covers to upcoming Action Comics that tease the outcome of the "The Oz Effect" storyline.

Hmm. The back of that head looks kind of familiar.

Article author Russ Burlingame noted the similarities between Mr. Oz and one of his favorite heroes.

The reader cannot see Oz's face, although from behind he appears to have a headband and exposed hair -- a descriptor that could apply to Ozymandias, Jor-El (in most continuities, including the current version), or numerous other characters, including Booster Gold.

Say it ain't so, DC!

You can read the whole article, including Burlingame's guess at who the hooded man might turn out to be, at ComicBook.com.

Whew! Most of you agree that Booster won't be Mr. Oz. What a relief.

Last week's poll question: Will Booster Gold play any role in the unveiling of Mr. Oz? (59 votes)

The real question here might be if Booster Gold was a prisoner of Mr. Oz, will we be seeing more of him after "The Oz Effect"? At least we can't see him any less.

We'll find out what role — if any — our hero will be playing in Mr. Oz's schemes when "The Oz Effect" goes on sale in Action Comics this September.
