Booster Gold is the Bomb
Good thing: the cover to Booster Gold #30 is being used to promote DC Comics' March 2010 releases on previews.diamondcomics.com. Bad thing: the title of the image according to the page source code is "bomb.jpg." Hopefully that is a description of the cover and not a description of the issue's sales numbers.

Get a job, Booster
Geoff Johns' new job made us wonder how Booster Gold earns a living. For years, he had a stipend with the Justice League. Then he worked with Ted Kord in a number of ventures. Following Ted's death, he sold celebrity sponsorships to pay the bills. But now he lives with his ancestor and works with a man more interested in experimental time travel than bringing home the bacon. So where is Booster earning his daily bread? Inquiring minds want to know.

Meet Geoff Johns, DC Chief Creative Officer
Congratulations to Geoff Johns for his promotion to DC Chief Creative Officer late last week. He's earned the title with his success over the past few years. Don't forget your good friend Booster Gold now that you're at the top, Geoff.

Boosterrific Still Needs Your Help!

Now I've gon ad-crazy. In addition to the Booster Gold Volume 1 ads I mentioned last Friday, I'm now also looking for ads from May 1991 for Armageddon 2001 and August 2007 for Booster Gold Volume 2. If anyone of you out there reading this were to come across any issues with any of these ads, please let me know. Again, you will receive proper credit for any instances that you turn up that are not already in the database. Thanks for the help.

Booster Gold: Figure Skater?
I've been watching the Olympics this week, and I have to say that some of the outfits worn by the athletes look a lot like what I would expect the costumes of many super heroes to look like in real life. If Hollywood can ever get over its aversion to heroes who don't wear black leather, maybe they should turn on NBC and take a look at how it should be done.
