Judd Winick at USA Today
Newspaper subscribers (does anyone do that anymore?) may have already noticed this USA Today article featuring Judd Winick's take on Generation Lost. I feel like I've been excessively negative lately, so I'll allow you to form your own opinions. But I find that I cannot stop myself from pointing out that it is spelled "bwah-ha-ha."

Superhumans! on ABC
ABC's 20/20 news magazine is airing a show about "real life" super-powered humans tonight at 10PM EDT. The show is clearly inspired by the enduring popularity of the genre of American comic book super heroes, which always bursts through the thin, fanboy line into the consciousness of the public-at-large during the summer months thanks to the release of Hollywood movies like Iron Man 2. It may prove interesting to see how various humans have tapped into the hidden strengths that all humans have without an accidental overdose of Gamma radiation interacting with their unique body chemistry.

Serious Blogging
TGB seems to be serious about this Booster Gold blogging he's doing over at The Greatest Blog You've Never Heard Of. That's some in-depth review of Justice League: Generation Lost #2 he's got posted now. Of course, the only reason that I mention any of this (other than the fact that I find myself agreeing with many of his points about the issue, even if I'm overall a little more pessimistic than he is) is because he mentioned me in his "Blurb of the Moment," and I'm a sucker for flattery.

Odd Man Out
<BEGIN RANT> I was reading The Return of Bruce Wayne and it struck me that Booster Gold's presence is, to say the least, unnecessary. If Superman and Green Lantern don't resent Booster's presence, it is only because to this point Booster hasn't done anything at all. Who wants to travel through time on a mission to save the universe with a braggart, do-nothing tag-along? I sure hope that this story and specifically Booster's presence within is going somewhere, because so far I'm not impressed, only confused and irritated. <END RANT>
