Synthetic Sidekick Strikes Back

Every post so-far this week has showcased Booster Gold's fan-created adventures. It's only fair that Skeets gets equal time.

Super-Team Family Presents #1450

Booster may have Blue Beetle, but as you can see, Skeets has some friends of his own in Ross Perarsall's Robo Force! This is the third adventure for Robo Force in the pages of Super-Team Family Presents..., and they just keep getting better.

New Blue and Gold Animated Cartoon

Propjosh is upping his game. For years, he has made short comedic videos using Booster Gold and Blue Beetle action figures. Now he's branching into animating our favorite comedy duo!

If you like that — and I don't know anyone who wouldn't — you can see more of propjosh's vidoes on Youtube.com. Keep up the good work, Josh!

I Like Watching Paint Dry

Loyal Booster booster Morgenstern worried that Kay Pike's video of her body-painted Booster Gold "costume" might be too risque for the Boosterrific blog. (As a general rule, I do try to keep things PG rated around here.) Therefore, I'm just going to give you a SFW screenshot:

Booster Gold body paint by Kay Pike

Isn't that amazing? Without a doubt, it's without a doubt the best Booster Gold cosplay I've seen this year.

Assuming the sight of body-painted women doesn't offend you, I strongly encourage you to click on the image above to visit Kay's Instagram page to see a short video of the costume in motion. It really is very skillfully painted. Kudos to Kay.

DC Announces Dates for Mystery Movies

Continuing their desperate attempt to jump start competition with Marvel's thriving film offerings, Warner Brothers has added two as-yet-untitled DC Comics-based movies to their planned release schedule in 2018 and 2019.

It's still anyone's guess what properties these films will star, but if there's any truth to the long-running Booster Gold film rumors, this announcement gives us hope that we might see Booster on the big screen sometime before 2020.

You can read more about the changes to Warner Brothers plans (plus find a bit of speculation about how these films might fit in the DC Extended Universe) at cinemablend.com.
