Old Release: Superman 33
J has sent me an email that says... well, here, you read it:
I'm writing to report a Booster cameo in an old comic. In Superman #33, cover dated July 1989, Booster appears in a one-panel cameo where Superman imagines what would have happened if he brought Zod from a pocket universe back to Earth. (It is on approximately the fifth page from the end of the comic.) This issue is collected in Superman: The Exile & Other Stories Omnibus.
I conveniently happen to have a copy of Superman #33, so I took a look. As usual, J is correct. This is panel 5 on page 18:

Looks like a bad day for the Justice League International. Fortunately for Booster, who is taking it on the chin from Kryptonian supervillain Quex-Ul (first appearance: Superman #157, 1962), this is all just an Eradicator-enabled visualization of Superman's rationalization for killing three alternate-universe Kryptonians in Superman #22. Let's call it an "imaginary story."
Good catch, J. I've updated the database with this book and the reprint.
