Convention Season Is Here
Last November, we met Smallville-era Booster Gold cosplayer Michael Boruff. Boruff has finally taken his cosplay to a convention, specifically the 2017 Gem City Comic Con in Dayton, Ohio earlier this month.
I love to see smiling Booster Gold cosplayers (and their fans!). Thanks, Michael.

Set in Flint-Stone
I hope everyone enjoyed Booster Gold/The Flintstones Special #1 as it looks to be the last time we'll see Booster Gold in the DCU for a while.
But was the Special really in continuity? It's not entirely clear. Taking place outside of continuity doesn't make the book any less enjoyable. However, as the chronicler of Booster's adventures, I'd sure like to know whether or not you think it should be considered within continuity (and which continuity that might be).
This week's poll question: Was Booster Gold/Flintstones in continuity? Please visit the Boosterrific Polls page to view results for this week's poll.

The Mystery Machine Goes International
The JLI Podcast (still going strong, having just recently covered Justice League International #11) recently retweeted this fantastic mash-up:
The artist behind this is no mystery. Credit to Jarrod Alberich, aka @yardsaleartist on Twitter.com.

Blue and Gold and Blue
Over the weekend, I spotted a pretty cool drawing of Booster Gold and Blue Beetle by Joe Rubenstein. Before I could post it today, the owner sold it and removed it from the site. Drat! That's two consecutive posts ruined by takedowns! The Internet giveth, and the Internet taketh away.
Therefore, I offer instead for your viewing pleasure this sketch cover of Booster Gold and Blue Beetle and Blue Devil by Paris Cullins!
As you can see, that's not Booster's normal costume. But then, Booster is the only character of the three that Paris Cullins didn't draw for DC in the 1980s, so I think we can forgive him.
You can see a larger picture in Arthur Chertowsky's gallery at Comic Art Fans.

Batman, Harley Quinn and Booster Gold, Oh My!
Steven Palchinski calls my attention to this sneak peak of the upcoming DCE animated movie Batman and Harley Quinn. To see what this has to do with Booster Gold, advance the following clip to about the 8:30 mark.
A Bloodwynd reference? That's a deep cut!
Thanks, Steven.
