Changing of the Gold
At Comic Con, Nerd Repository's Kyle Wilson interviewed Diedrich Bader about his upcoming take on Booster Gold for Justice League Action.
It's nice to hear Bader praising Tom Everett Scott for having fun with our favorite hero on Batman: Brave and the Bold. For many, Scott remains the ideal Booster Gold after his excellent performance in Justice League Unlimited's "The Greatest Story Never Told." Let's see if Bader can change some minds.
You'll find more information about Justice League Action at NerdRepository.com. (Thanks to Morgenstern for reminding me about this post.)

365 Days
Have I ever run a poll with such even distribution of responses?
Last week's poll question: Why do you think we haven't seen Booster Gold in a comic in the past year? (51 votes)
With no announced upcoming Booster Gold appearances in the pipeline, I guess there's plenty of blame to go around.
I decided to reach out and ask Booster's creator, Dan Jurgens, what his opinion was on the reason for Booster's prolonged absence from the DCnU.
At this point, it probably has more to do with the fact that DC has recently retooled its line and is really focusing on the core JL members and books.
That having been said, I'd like to do something with him soon!
Thanks, Dan! Hope springs eternal!
Bobdogrjr said in last week's comments he thought we'd see Booster in Action Comics 1000. Maybe he's on to something.

Twelve Years a Green Lantern
SF Debris started the week with a pointed but loving critique of the greatest episode ever animated of Justice League Unlimited. (Can you believe it's been almost 12 years since it first aired?)
Despite including the interesting footnote that the episode was originally intended as a Firestorm story, SF Debris somehow failed to credit the episode's writer, Andrew Kreisberg, or director, Dan Riba. Oversight corrected.
You can see the whole video yourself by visiting sfdebris.com. Thanks to Morgenstern for the link.

Blue and Gold Cover Draw! Magazine
Booster Gold might not have appeared in DC Comics lately, but TwoMorrows publishing is picking up the slack. They're keeping the humor alive by putting everyone's favorite dysfunctional duo on the cover of the latest Draw! magazine:
As you can tell from the cover blurb, yes, that's art by the inimitable Howard Porter. Porter created this piece exclusively for TwoMorrows by incorporating an unused Justice League 3001 cover idea. There's much more of his talent inside, though Blue and Gold are limited to the cover and a small preliminary sketch for this cover.
If you can't find the issue in your Local Comic Shop, you can order it online at TwoMorrows.com.
