Why Can't Legends of Tomorrow Be Golden
What cereals will Booster Gold endorse next? Something with marshmallows? Bran flakes? A Fruity Pebbles knock-off?
Last week's poll question: Which Booster Gold-endorsed cereal do you like best? (34 votes)
We got the news — good or bad, depending on your feelings about The CW — that Booster will not be in Legends of Tomorrow, but we still don't know why not. The project would have seemed perfect for him.

Booster Gold Not Coming to Legends of Tomorrow
If you were paying attention this weekend, you've probably already heard the news reported by Laurence Almalvez of The Hollywood Reporter.
"I wish I could tease a Booster thing but, you might have to wait a good long while at least on our show," said
[Legends of Tomorrow showrunner Phil] Klemmer. "Perhaps Booster is being groomed for bigger things."
Or perhaps he's not. Who knows?
The nerd-baiting click farms that populate the Interwebs want you to believe that this is clear evidence that a Booster Gold movie is in the works. Don't be fooled. This isn't clear evidence of anything other than news that Booster Gold fans don't have to watch Legends of Tomorrow.
Don't worry. If there's going to be a Booster Gold movie, DC will let us know.

This Day in History: Batman Was Dead Then Too
DC would have us believe that following the Convergence break Batman will be dead again. If this sounds like an overused cliche, perhaps that's because it is. It was only five years ago today that Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne #2 saw Booster Gold join DC's best-selling heroes on a trip through time in search of the caped crusader.
The Time Masters played almost no role in recovering Bruce Wayne then, and they are very unlikely to show up around Gotham this time either. Rip Hunter is too busy memorizing his lines for his upcoming television series, DC's Legends of Tomorrow (a weird name for a show whose newest character first saw print nearly 40 years ago).
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
