Booster Gold appears in exactly two pages of Secret Origins #41, and since the Trickster is the perfect villain to close out our April Fools week, let's see both of 'em:
Apparently Trickster and Wile E. Coyote get their toys from the same supplier. Maybe it's time for a Booster Gold / Road Runner team up.

How was the Trickster able to lift that anvil?
And it seems writers tend to forget Boosters suit gives him a degree of super-strength

The super strength granted by Booster's power suit is irrelevant in this situation. If Booster picks up a boulder and flies, the Legion Flight Ring has to be able to lift the combined mass of Booster plus the boulder. The upper limit of mass that can be carried aloft by the ring is unclear, but it is probably tied to its wearer's willpower and concentration. In this case, Booster is clearly surprised by what he's suddenly carrying, so his concentration may temporarily lapse.
A better question is how does Trickster carry a 10 ton weight? The Trickster's shoes (which in the 80s were powered by anti-gravity tech, not air) were only able to lift his body weight plus some extra. You would think 10 tons should be too much. And he has no super strength, so how would he hold/manipulate such a heavy bag in his hands as he was airwalking? (The shoes are gravity defying, not the wearer.) And just how strong is that bag?
What I think really happens here is that it's all just a trick. The anvil doesn't really weigh 10 tons, it just says it does. Booster can read and is surprised by the reveal, so his concentration slips and he falls, buying Trickster time to escape.

Since it is from ACME, I woluld assume that gravity only affects the anvil once Booster made the mistake of looking at it.
