I still remember buying issue 1 the golden hero vs dark hued blackguard. The mysterious 100 had me spooked at the time. And who the heck was this intriguing character? This noble but flawed man. His beef with superman was epic. Designed as a desperate attempt to draw readership with one the big 3, it accidentally ended up being a compelling and revealing conflict revealing the characters of both heroes.
Of course he only truly came into his own in Justice League. JmD and Kevin Maguire had me sucked in in 8th grade. This League was absurdly powerful with Dr Fate Superman Shazam Martian Manhunter Jesus they were loaded. Dr Light Blue Beetle Batman Wonder Woman Green Lantern. Are you kidding!! It was so much fun. And ENTER Booster Gold with a bang trying to cash in as always but halfheartedly. At first rebuffed but then beloved and eventually at the center of the title. Skeets became a world wide name. The Blue and The Gold were defined and utterly deified in this era and no other past or future can challenge this epic saga of characterization and cannonization forevermore representing these two are their immortal best chiseled in stone Bwhahaha!!!
The big reveal of Booster as a criminal time traveller was a bit of an anticlimax. I was like what? But I liked the Flight ring and it's connection to the greater DC universe rather than some more generic item like his blasters.
Booster Gold 30 years now right? 31? 52 card pick up also a great run and maybe my favorite overall. Flashpoint was hidealous almost as bad as Millennium the absolute worst garbage crossover ever in history. Still have every issue.

You've been fighting the good fight long enough, and we all aren't paying you a dime (beside maybe automatic ad revenue) for all your efforts - and DC certainly less -, so no shame in putting (most of/all) your energies elsewhere, and for ever long as you need.
We're grateful for all you do, but we aren't entitled to it! :)

Always take care of yourself, and maybe we'll all shake out of this slump as a fandom when there is more Booster content to go around than the little scraps we're trying to live on right now.
