Issue Notes: Booster Gold does not appear in this issue, though an alternate Earth counterpart does. The concept of the Tangent Universe was created in the late 1990s by none other than scribe Dan Jurgens, creator of Booster Gold. Even though Jurgens did not write this specific story, it was inevitable that some variation of one of Jurgens' most favored creations would eventually turn up in this parallel world.
Page 19, panel 3
During a telling of the history of the Tangent Universe, Booster Gold is identified as a superhero appearing in Cleveland, Ohio in the 1960s in the alternate Earth of the parallel "Tangent" universe. The Tangent Universe was one of the infinite variations of Earth present in Hypertime, and survived Infinite Crisis to become Earth-9.
