MEET THE PRESS: Booster Gold crashes a televised business news report to announce his tie-in sponsorship with the Symphonee Music Fest (a music festival sponsored by the Symphonee music app). The interrupted news report detailed the potential buyout of Ticketsorcerer, presumably a ticket sales and distribution company akin to Ticketmaster, by Stellmoor Industries, a corporation that buys other companies then dismantles them, selling the parts for a greater profit. Stellmoor Industries' most famous acquisition was Queen Industries, purchased in Green Arrow volume 5 #17 (2013).

Teen Titan Roundhouse is revealed to be an enthusiastic Booster Gold fan. (Previously unknown, this revelation is coincidentally convenient to the plot. More on that on the next page.)

PRODUCT PLACEMENT: Booster promotes a "one-of-a-kind collector's cup" will be available exclusively to attendees of Symphonee Music Fest. As shown, the large cup has the initials "BG" on its side and a tiny statue of Booster standing beside the Symphonee logo on the lid. The cup also comes with a code to unlock a "rare" digital fighter in the Beastly Biohazard fighting video game. (DC Comics has used this promotional strategy to much success, selling out printings of 2021's Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point to buyers eager to unlock characters in the Fortnite video game.)

Roundhouse's newly revealed desire for Booster's cup (or, more specifically, the digital code sticker on the cup — hence the title of this story) will motivate him to get caught up in the action of the main story. That elevates Booster's brief appearance in this issue from a simple cameo to a supporting role (and makes the "collector's cup" a genuine Hitchcockian McGuffin, or an object whose only intrinsic value is as a plot device).
Boosterrific Review: An Internet celebrity promoting a sinister smartphone app developed by some ne'er-do-wells with the intention of controlling the minds of unsuspecting children? This whole scenario is just too far-fetched.
Boosterrific Rating: Gold Standard.
