A PAIR OF DOCS?: In order to watch their past selves in action, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle (and Skeets!) travel into the past. Forty years past, to be exact. They arrive on the same beach at the same time as their ten-year, twenty-year, thirty-year, thirty-nine-year, and forty year younger selves. They have to be here because they will have remembered seeing themselves while they were younger men. There is no paradox in known history playing out as expected. It would only be a paradox if the older heroes didn't travel back in time to meet their younger selves.

FASHION ALERT: Both Booster and Beetle have have abandoned their super-hero costumes for t-shirts celebrating their enduring friendship. (The pair say they are celebrating 50 years of friendship, which presumably started about a decade before this trip to the beach while the two heroes were still nascent crime fighters.) Skeets has been adapted into a walker!

The pair join several other instances of themselves drawn from throughout history to defeat the nefarious King Shark.
