Booster Gold Film Version Costume
It's too late to order for tomorrow's holiday, but if you're planning ahead for next year, know that Herostime.com is now offering a new Booster Gold "Film Version" costume.
Hmm. A female model for the "film version" Booster Gold? Do they know something we don't know?
(Disclaimer: I do not think they know something we don't know. This zentai costume appears to be based on the stylings of Booster's leather costume from Smallville. And it's not the first time that we've seen "film" versions of Booster's costume. Check out this post from 2012.)
Enjoy your Halloween.

Vote in Today's Poll and Feed a Starving Child
Given how often I see the design repeated in fan art, I cannot believe that no one voted for "teardrop" Skeets.
Last week's poll question: What's your preferred Skeets design? (42 votes)
It's demonstrable that celebrities bring attention to some good causes they choose to promote, but would we trust the word of a glory-hungry, fame-seeking spokesperson like Booster Gold when he asks us to donate our time and money to the latest cause of the week?

New Release: Justice League 3001 #5
We haven't seen Booster Gold anywhere since Bat-Mite #4. Don't expect that to change with today's Justice League 3001 #5.
However, we do know from the issue preview available at GraphicPolicy.com that Booster Gold and Blue Beetle will at least get a name drop (from Fire and Ice!).
Given the latest Booster drought — 84 days and counting — that's a good enough reason for me to pick up the issue.

Cleaning Out the Bookmarks
Look familiar? Today's Booster Gold fan art was created at least 3 years ago.
This piece was commissioned from lavenderpie by drtoof, who posted it on tumblr (in 2012). I'm pretty sure those aren't their real names.

Alan Tudyk Doesn't Know Who Blue Beetle Is
Our favorite reporter, Russ Burlingame, reports that Alan Tudyk, familiar to Firefly fans as "Wash", says he'd be willing to play Blue Beetle if his pal Nathan Fillion was cast in a movie as Booster Gold.
"If it's working with Nathan, I'm in."
Of course, Burlingame's article at ComicBook.com goes on to clarify that Tudyk doesn't seem to know who Blue Beetle is. Does that matter so long as we get to see friends Fillion and Tudyk yuk it up on screen again as comicdom's best comedic duo?
