Eyz Recommends Eaglemoss
Frequent Boosterrific.com commenter Eyz recently reviewed the Eaglemoss Booster Gold figurine on his blog G33k Life. (Most of you probably know Eyz from his Heroes! parody comic strips.) The statuette was produced in September 2009 as the 20th in a series of licensed DC Comics characters especially for the European market. Eyz was kind enough to share some information about the accompanying DC Super Hero Figure Collectible Magazine for inclusion on Boosterrific.com:
"The DC magazines that come with the figurines all use the same template, that is 20 pages in full colors of bio and various information. Basically, it's sort of what you'd find on Wikipedia but only illustrated by various scans. (Well, more like Boosterrific itself in that regards!)"
"Then there's a 3 pages spread 'Classic Storylines' narrating important moments of the character. For Booster it concerns the original arc against the 100 and then 52!"
"After that, there are 3 pages on allies & enemies -- Max, Ted Kord, Jaime, Rip Hunter, etc. -- with pictures and all as well. This is followed by a double page spread on his costume and powers."
"The last two pages are the same for all figurines/characters. It's the 'DC Comics Timeline', narrating the whole DC Universe from the creation of the universe, medieval times with Etrigan, the old west, etc. [The timeline section] in Booster's magazine is 'Part 11: 10,000 to 9,000 Years ago'."
Big thanks to Eyz for the details.

Superbuddies! Moves to Heroes!
Over in the Boosterrific forum, Eyz let us that he has a new Superbuddies! comic up at the strips's new home, heroes-comix.blogspot.com. The first panel is below. Click the image to read the rest of the strip (in higher definition!) at Eyz's new Heroes! website.
Todays strip reminds me of the frame story in 1988's Secret Origins #35, where Martian Manhunter chastised Booster for trying to cash in on the Justice League's good name. It wouldn't be too many more years later before the League would set up a gift shop in New York City to cash in on its own no-longer-so-good name. Ah, nostalgia. Yesterday's drama is today's comedy gold.

More Superbuddies!
Eyz's latest SUPERBUDDIES! strip is up at G33K Life (where you can see a much enlarged -- and easier to read -- version of the strip). Even though it was posted last week, this is still as close as you are likely to come to a new Booster Gold comic this week. So enjoy.

SUPPERBUDDIES! at G33K Life
Eyz of G33K Life is running a very periodic comic strip based on everybody's favorite Booster Gold and the rest of the Justice League International. You can find Eyz's SUPPERBUDDIES! strips and links to his other very entertaining comic-centric cartoons here.
But wait, that's not all! This past weekend, G33K Life has been busy with the Booster Gold love, posting a review of the entire original run of Booster Gold in the site's Comic Book Quickies series. Of course, anyone visiting Boosterrific probably already knows everything that there is to know about Booster (right?), but there's certainly something to be said for quick reviews of books in this modern, minute rice world.
