Giving Thanks for Fire and Water
Since we celebrate Thanksgiving this coming Thursday, let's start early by thanking Shag of Firestorm Fan and Rob of The Aquaman Shrine for mentioning Boosterrific.com in their most recent Fire and Water Podcast.
Boosterrific -- mentioned at almost exactly the one-hour mark -- was one of the many, many DC character-centric sites that the pair listed in the second half of the 2-hour recording. (The first half of the recording is dedicated to a lively discussion of the 1982 Justice League of America/All-Star Squadron "Crisis on Earth-Prime" story.)
So if you like Aquaman or Firestorm or any other DC character, you can probably find directions to the site of your dreams in this podcast. And that just might give you reason to say "thanks," too!

Booster Gold Worships at the Aquaman Shrine
There appears to have been some debate last week over at The Aquaman Shrine about some mystery character appearing in a 1993 trading card. Turns out that the character was none other than Booster Gold. One would have thought that by now Booster Gold would have reached market saturation among DC Comic fans, though admittedly Booster has spent very little time with the King of the Sea. They've only shared 28 comic books in the past two decades, and I can't presently think of any instances where the two characters actually communicated. Hmm. Maybe it's about time these two had a dedicated crossover.
