Legends of Tonight

According to my television guide, the season seven finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow debuts tonight at 8PM Eastern.

You may recall that this is the episode that will introduce Donald Faison's mystery character who very well might be the Berlanti Arrowverse's version of Booster Gold. Or, at least some version of him, as Legends of Tomorrow leans heavily into the DC Multiverse.

Anyway, tonight's the night, Booster boosters. So tune in and see what you think. You know I will.

Last night's 'Itchy and Scratchy Show' was, without a doubt, the worst episode ever. Rest assured, I was on the internet within minutes, registering my disgust throughout the world.
"The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show" is the second best Simpsons episode ever. Fight me.

UPDATE: Yep, Donald Faison is Booster Gold, all right. If the show is renewed for a season 8, it sure looks like we'll be getting more.

Side note: The episode is *not* designed for viewers who are not already intimitely familiar with the series. So if you're watching DC Legends of Tomorrow for the first time — or in my case, the second time in 7 years — may God have mercy on your soul.

Second side note: If you're looking for my opinion, I didn't hate it. I didn't love it, either, but, hey, I'm more of a Comic Book Guy anyway. Faison certainly had the right energy, I'll give him that, and I won't be bothered at all if they bring him back for more episodes. I might even be persuaded to watch them.

So far I've only seen the clip of his golf scene on YouTube. I have similar feelings. I'll grab the episode when it comes up on iTunes tomorrow or so to see the rest of it.

I think I've only seen the first 4 seasons of the show, so I have a general feel for the show, though I'm sure things have changed up in the years since.

My insane hope for Season 8? Skeets is the head of the Time Police (because just imagine Sara being led into this massive office and there is a tiny egg-shaped robot floating behind a desk) and the Legends and Booster kidnap him when they escape and slowly corrupt Skeets into joining in on their reckless saving of time

Exact same boat as you. Haven't seen the show in years. Was kinda lost. Didn't hate it. Wasn't super into it either. Could be cool if brought back later in full blown form. I'd love to see a new live action take on his outfit. Donald did have the right energy. So that's good atleast.

Why am I not the least bit surprised that the CW would ruin yet another beloved character with their woke gender and race swapping nonsense? It's almost like there's some kind of racist, sexist agenda and bias occurring behind scenes, since I have yet to see a historically black character being played by a white actor, or a character that is female in the comics being changed to a male character on this show, or in any comic book live action or animated tv show or movie. It's only white male characters being race and gender swapped. I'm not necessarily a purest, but I do believe that characters should be portrayed on television and in film the way they were originally created in the comics.

And before anyone starts calling me any litany of -ist or -phobe words, you should know that I'm not white. Comic book fans of color feel this way as well, not just white people.

I could care less bout the race swap with Boostergold, I enjoyed his Portrayel of the character, and it messes with the 100s of books I have read, of such characters,

But it's also an alternate post crisis earth adaptation, so it was fun we finally got to see the character at all, even though they eroniously cancelled it before his whole story was told
