The JLA Are Just a League of Hoarders
Yesterday we saw Wally West in the JLA Trophy Room, and today we find Connor Hawke dropping by. Given that neither of these Justice League members exists in the DCnU, they themselves would make great Trophy Room displays! But that's not why we're here today.
As seen in this panel from JLA #8, a variant of Booster's short-lived Mark XI armor hangs on the wall of the Trophy Room on the JLA Watchtower. When it first debuted, the Mark XI had an off-center star. Like the Mark II, which was retired for an upgrade, the Mark XI was also replaced while still operational for a style more similar to Booster's original Mark I power-suit.
This costume was designed by professor Emil Hamilton, yet another character erased by Flashpoint. Come to think of it, Ted Kord, designer of Booster's Mark II armor seen yesterday was also erased by Flashpoint. I begin to suspect that anyone who ever saw Booster Gold out of costume has been erased from DC history! Who would do such a nefarious thing?
Drop by tomorrow for even more Booster Gold swag found in the JLA Trophy Room!
