Booster Gold and Skeets are employed as security guards at the Kord-Holt Antarctic Super Collider. Booster's bosses are Ted Kord and Micheal Holt (familiar to DC fans as the alter egos of the heroic second Blue Beetle and Mister Terrific, respectively). Booster is liaising with other heroes in the D.E.O. Headquarters, updating them on the sudden disappearance of Lois Lane and Superman during a recent test of the super-collider. ("Poof!") Heroes involved in the discussion are Diana of Themyscira (Wonder Woman), Steve Trevor, Oliver Queen (Green Arrow), and Chloe Sullivan.

While investigating the source of an "unknown alien technology" that may have been responsible for the collider malfunction, Skeets ominously warns Booster that that the historical data they traveled back in time to exploit may have been lost or corrupted. This is Booster's last appearance in this issue.
