The SuperCylopedia's entry on Booster Gold reads "A resident of the 25th century, Michael Jon Carter traveled back to the present day so he could use futuristic technology (instead of actual abilities or heroic inclination) to become a 'manufactured hero'." Obviously, this is not an entirely accurate description of the Booster Gold of the mainstream DC Universe, who has always been both a highly skilled athlete and genuinely interested in doing good deeds. (Booster's enemy is listed as "Humility," and that does seem about right.) No mention is made of Skeets.
