ISSUE ANNOTATIONS

Page 13, panel 2
Booster Gold is locked in a bare room in the New York JLI Embassy pending his successful deprogramming of the Queen Bee's post-hypnotic suggestion. This is the second time that he has been mind-controlled by an enemy, though at least this time he is caught before he can attack any of his fellow Leaguers. While sequestered, Booster's primary concern is his friend, Blue Beetle, who has been in a coma following his first unsuccessful deprogramming at the hands of Amanda Waller.

Page 18, panel 5
Booster's yell from upstairs, interrupting the conversation between Martian Manhunter and Blue Beetle, indicates that Kent Nelson has successfully removed the Queen Bee's programming of Booster.

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: Old friends of the League return to help out a pair of current Leaguers in distress in this issue. While the separate-but-equal story lines in this issue are light on action, they're both long on characterization which more than makes up for any other deficiencies.

Boosterrific Rating:

Worth Its Weight In Gold.

An interesting issue with a fun peek inside the head of Ted Kord.
