"Week 3, Day 4." Booster Gold and Skeets II battle Shockwave in Metropolis. The last Booster met Shockwave, the villain destroyed Booster's Metropolis headquarters in Reilleau Towers (as seen in Booster Gold #11).

Booster has been placing bets on sporting events in order to increase his wealth. It is this pattern of behavior that caused Booster to fall from the public's grace in his future when he began gambling on his own football games.

Shortly after signing a sponsorship deal with pharmaceutical company Akteon-Holt, Booster watches as Mr. Akteon is arrested for securities fraud. Booster is justifiably livid with Skeets, since Booster is so cautious about which sponsors he is willing to endorse, only choosing companies that he knows will perform well. In fact, in Booster Gold #1, Booster refused to endorse Chem Tech, knowing that the company would fold within a year. If Skeets selected Akteon-Holt as a company on the rise, it is an indication that his historical records have been compromised.
Boosterrific Review: Another great issue continuing Booster Gold's slow fall from public approval and growing tension between Booster and his sidekick, Skeets II. I'm beginning to wonder if this series will have a bad issue.
Boosterrific Rating: Worth Its Weight In Gold.
