Safety First

Ok, so everything seems to be working around here. How about we give a poll a shot?

Winner and still champion of your Local Comic Shop's bargain bin, Extreme Justice!

Last week's poll question: ( votes)

In recent months, the NFL has been cracking down on player safety in the light of new evidence about the long-term damage of concussions. If football is no longer a safe sport for our kids to play, maybe Booster Gold should consider white-washing his past to be a better role-model.

Grin and Bear It

I'm so sorry. I'm working on it.

I talked about my feelings about this on Monday. How do you feel about it?

Is It Just Me?

For all the problems I'm having around here, at least the poll voting is working.

Realistically, how many people who visit a website devoted to a character whose title was cancelled for the New 52 are going to be satisfied by whatever replaced it? Looks like the answer is about 27%.

Last week's poll question: Other than how it relates to Booster Gold, are you happy with the New 52 so far? (47 votes)

Other than how it relates to Booster Gold, are you happy with the New 52 so far?

I've only gotten a few complaints about the server problems here at Boosterrific.com, but I strongly suspect that for each complaint I get, there must be a dozen others who are silently disgruntled. I need to know how much trouble this is so that I can allocate the appropriate resources to eradicating it. Now's your opportunity to speak up anonymously and tell me if the slow response is damaging your satisfaction with the site, too.

The Big Picture

It's hard to tell how well Justice League of America #1 sales have gone overall. I suspect that since DC isn't crowing about how great they have been, they can't find anything to crow about. It certainly looks like Boosterrific readers didn't buy into the hype.

Last week's poll question: How many copies of Justice League of America did you buy? (44 votes)

How many copies of Justice League of America did you buy?

I haven't been subtle about my dissatisfaction with the New 52. However, I'm willing to admit that it could be a case of new tricks for this old dog. Now that it's been a year and a half, what's your opinion of the New 52?

Justice for All

Sigh. I forgot to plug the vote counter back in when I revised the scripts last week, so, yeah, last week's poll... it recorded no votes for the first 5 days it was up. I think I'm going to have to run this one again later.

Last week's poll question: Which Booster Gold supporting character do you miss the most in the DCnU? (8 votes)

Which Booster Gold supporting character do you miss the most in the DCnU?

Yeah, I'll be running that one again soon [wipes egg from face]. Let's move on, shall we?

Justice League of America #1 has 53 covers. This has attracted the attention of various localized media outlets which seem pleased to find their respective state flags on the cover of a comic book. I'm pretty sure that was DC's goal. Does that publicity turn into sales? Out of curiosity, I ask:
