Giffen's Departure: Generation Loss?
Last week, in the Newsarama.com article appropriately titled "Judd Winick Goes Solo on Justice League: Generation Lost," Vaneta Rogers confirmed that Keith Giffen is leaving Generation Lost beginning in issue #8. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I've been a big fan of Giffen's breakdowns. They provide an experienced and even-handed tempo for the sequential art that proves invaluable, especially for ensemble artist series such as JL:GL. I expect that from this point forward, the series art is likely to become even more erratic from issue to issue. Hopefully, this will not unduly affect the story-telling in a title that is already looking a little too rushed.

Gold Exchange: Booster Gold 34
The interviews don't end! Russ Burlingame returns with another "Gold Exchange" column, interviewing J.M. DeMatteis about Booster Gold #34. Many of you will be pleased to hear that DeMatteis confirms that Keith Giffen's art was included primarily to ease deadlines for regular series artist Chris Batista and will not become a mainstay for future issues. But don't take my word for it. Go read the the latest "Gold Exchange" yourself at newsarama.com.

Gold Exchange: Vanishing Point 1
Russ Burlingame has published his latest "Gold Exchange" column with Dan Jurgens discussing Vanishing Point #1 on Newsarama.com. As always, Burlingame's questions draw some illuminating answers from Jurgens about the events and characters in his latest story (How does Michelle feel about being Goldstar? Whatever happened to the Linear Men? Will we see more Tyrannosauruses?) But the biggest news in this article is the announcement of the new Dan Jurgens website, DanJurgens.com. Congratulations to Jurgens for finally establishing a solid web presence disseminating news of his many, many activities.

Digital Justice League
Is the digital revolution already here? DC made a bunch of noise about Justice League: Generation Lost being released simultaneously in print and digital formats last month (as seen at Newsarama.com). Is DC aware of the delicious irony in using a comic based on nostalgia for the late 1980s to promote their transition into the digital future? As we approach the release of #5, I wonder if anyone out there has taken or plans to take DC up on their offer (as seen at Comixology.com)? If so, please tell Boosterrific: curious minds want to know.

Gold Exchange 33
Russ Burlingame's latest interview with J.M. DeMatteis is online at Newsarama.com. Now I really, really have to know who Brigadoom is standing-in for. Another giant, perhaps? My money is on Brimstone.
And check out the picture of young Daniel Burlingame's new duds as he poses for the paparazzi. That kid's got style! Congratulations and early Happy Father's Day, Mr. Burlingame.
