Today DC releases the first chapter of Justice League: The Rise of Arsenal, presumably detailing Roy Harper's return following the loss of his right arm in Justice League: Cry For Justice. The last Leaguer to lose an arm and replace it with a cybernetic prosthesis was, of course, Booster Gold. With Cyborg now also a Justice League member, perhaps in this mini-series the trio will form a support group to lament their lost limbs (though I doubt it). Justice League: The Rise of Arsenal, part 1 of 4, has a cover price of $3.99.

To follow up on yesterday's post, if you haven't already seen it, check out the Newsarama interview with Keith Giffen and Judd Winick on the upcoming Justice League: Generation Lost series.

Full disclosure: I strongly dislike Judd Winick's DC work. I believe that rather than work with the characters that he is given, he butchers established characterization in order to push his own agenda. I find that distasteful. But I'm willing to (publicly) withhold judgment about this project until I read it. We'll see what we see.

At this point you're probably saying that surely there can't be enough Booster Gold related news to blog about on a nearly daily basis. Well, here's hoping you're wrong. After all, it's just recently been announced that Booster Gold will be appearing in a second title, Justice League: Generation Lost, and that Dan Jurgens will be leaving Booster Gold, not to mention the fact that the Blue Beetle co-feature is soon to be canceled. And all that's newsworthy, right? (Besides, this blog allows for a pretty clean way for me to link to all of those stories that I couldn't really do before in the old format.)
