What We Learned at NYCC 2017
The closest thing to Booster Gold news coming out of New York Comic Con this past weekend was included in this report of the "Sunday Conversation" panel with Dan DiDio and Keith Giffen (among others) as reported by Joe Glass for BleedingCool.com:
A fan says he'd love to see Seven Soldiers of Victory book, another says Booster Gold, another with Secret Six. Someone says Ambush Bug (Giffen: "No.")
So Booster was a no-show at NYCC, but he's not so underrepresented at all conventions.
This is George Pooley (with his "best mate") at the MCM Manchester Comic Con in the UK back in July:
See? Blue and Gold were in the house!
Thanks to George for sharing. Keep up the good cosplaying, men.

Looking for Marc Campos
I make no secret of the fact that I enjoyed Dan Vado's time writing Justice League comics, including Extreme Justice. It's also no secret that I'm not quite such a fan of the art of Vado's frequent collaborator, Marc Campos.
To be fair, I'm a Booster Gold guy, and Campos' time on the character coincided with Booster's infamous football armor. It was not a golden era.
I'm perfectly willing to accept that fans of other characters may have enjoyed Campos' work a little more than I did. In fact, one of them recently sent me an email looking for help tracking Campos down.
Love your site! I was just wondering if you happened to know contact info for Marc Campos?? I have been wanting for years to get a Blue Beetle commission from him!
I'd like to help, but sadly, I have no idea how to reach Mr. Campos. All I know is that back in the day, he worked out of Brazil (and presumably still does).
Can anyone be a hero and point us in the right direction to contact Campos? If so, leave a note in the comments, and I'll be sure to pass it along.

And the Artist Is... Dan Jurgens
I think the debate over who will be drawing Action Comics #993 is over.
Dan Jurgens writing and drawing Booster Gold again? Now that's something to look forward to!

Specter of the Lich
It's been a long time since I've mentioned it, but you do know that in addition to maintaining the web's most complete Booster Gold database, I also write fantasy novels, yes?
Well, this rare Tuesday post is to notify you that my fourth novel is now available!
Specter of the Lich continues the adventures of characters in last year's trilogy (The Wizards of Ranaloy, Prince Thorgils' War, and A Quest Before Dying).
Once again, the wizard Artimus is pressed into service with his companions Corrin, Jon, Ico, and Whisper to defend their land against a necromantic threat. Things don't go smoothly. If they did, it wouldn't be much of an adventure story, would it?
If you enjoy role-playing or fantasy novels (or supporting Booster Gold website webmasters), please consider visiting www.CentralKingdomsChronicles.com, where you'll find a free preview of the first chapter of each of the books. You'll also find links to purchase Kindle eBooks from Amazon.com and paperbacks from CreateSpace.com.
Thanks for your support.

Super-Team Ups, Real Life Edition
Everyone knows that Booster Gold cannot travel back in time into the Marvel Universe. But what this cover presupposes is... maybe he can?
This is another genius mash-up cover from the mind of Ross Pearsall of Super-Team Family Presents.... In fact, this cover image is Ross' 2,500th. Congratulations!
