Boosterrific Still Needs Your Help!
Now I've gon ad-crazy. In addition to the Booster Gold Volume 1 ads I mentioned last Friday, I'm now also looking for ads from May 1991 for Armageddon 2001 and August 2007 for Booster Gold Volume 2. If anyone of you out there reading this were to come across any issues with any of these ads, please let me know. Again, you will receive proper credit for any instances that you turn up that are not already in the database. Thanks for the help.

Booster Gold: Figure Skater?
I've been watching the Olympics this week, and I have to say that some of the outfits worn by the athletes look a lot like what I would expect the costumes of many super heroes to look like in real life. If Hollywood can ever get over its aversion to heroes who don't wear black leather, maybe they should turn on NBC and take a look at how it should be done.

Gold Exchange 29
It may seem that I link to Russ Burlingame's work often, but how many Booster-centric writers are there out there? As usual Burlingame has gathered Dan Jurgens' monthly reaction to Booster Gold in his Gold Exchange column at Newsarama.

Booster Gold Logos
FYI: Late last week I traded emails with Todd Klein, longtime professional comic book letterer. (You can find his blog here, chock full of interesting comic book tidbits.) Todd confirmed that he was the original designer of the first Booster Gold masthead logo, and Rob Leigh designed the modern masthead logo. Everyone thank Mr. Klein for his contribution to the greatest character on this website.

Busy Weekend
Over the weekend I added over a dozen new books to the database. Most of these were missed Booster appearances I dug out from some lingering uncategorized boxes in my collection, including such nuggets as Blasters Special and Action Comics Annual #4 (which I am embarrassed to have missed previously, as Booster appears on almost every page). So I can definitely say that the site is more complete than ever before! Maybe I should change the masthead?
