Issue Notes: The events of this issue are intended to take place in the 1990s. Effigy first appeared in Green Lantern, Volume 3, #113 and #114, in summer 1999. Effigy did not reappear until Green Lantern, Volume 3, #123 in spring 2000. Therefore, this issue must take place between those dates. Since Green Lantern and Booster Gold fought together in Green Lantern, Volume 3, #115-116, it seems logical that this issue takes place after that meeting, giving Effigy enough time to return to Earth and Green Lantern the desire to follow up on the actions of Booster Gold and Blue Beetle.
Story Notes: This issue contains two stories. Only one, "Hothead", includes Booster Gold.
Reprint Notes: This issue contains a reprint of the story "A Beginning" originally published in Green Lantern, Volume 3, #78 in 1996.

FASHION ALERT: Booster Gold is seen in a monitor in the JLA Watchtower Monitor Womb. Booster is one among several heroes -- including Batman, Blue Beetle, Martian Manhunter, Mister Miracle, and Superman -- that are being observed by Green Lantern Kyle Rayner while on monitor duty. Note that Booster is seen in his classic collared costume, even though at this point in time he should be wearing his Mark XI costume. Is this archived footage? This is Booster Gold's only appearance in this issue.
Boosterrific Review: Green Lantern and Effigy battle with energy constructs for 22 of 25 pages in throwback that is very loyal to stories of the period. though not groundbreaking in any way, fans of late 1990s Green Lantern comics will find this familiar and comfortable territory.
Boosterrific Rating: Gold Standard.
