Booster Gold's role in this story:
Featured (Booster Gold plays a prominent role)
Issue Notes: This is the 3rd of 6 issues in the Earth-Prime miniseries. Each issue in the miniseries focuses on a different segment of the CW television shows taking place in a shared DC Multiverse known as the Arrowverse. This issue is the first to focus on characters appearing in episodes of the DC's Legends of Tomorrow television series.
Story Notes: "Booster's Day Out" is the issue's back-up story, and it features the version of Booster Gold played on television by Donald Faison.

The events of this story take place behind the scenes of the thirteenth episode of the season seven of DC's Legends of Tomorrow television show, "Knocked Down, Knocked Up," the final episode of the series. It originally aired on the CW on March 2, 2022.

Skeets did not appear, wasn't even mentioned, in the television episode this story was based on. It remains unexplained why Booster is speaking to an empty helmet.

While Waverider is an ally of the Time Masters in familiar DC continuity, on Legends of Tomorrow, the Waverider is a time-traveling ship.
Page 35, panel 3
This incarnation of Booster Gold was a time guardian "fixer" charged with eternally ensuring the immutability of events leading to the creation of time-travel technology in the Mametz Wood, a battleground in the First Battle of the Somme in early July 1916.

Cuddle Me Beebo is a 1990s toy that unintentionally causes a time paradox in the season 3 episode "Beebo the God of War."

"Star City, 2315" is apparently a reference to the Legends of Tomorrow first season episode "Star City 2046."
Page 37, panel 2
"Heyworld, 2019" is apparently a reference to the Legends of Tomorrow fourth season episode "Hey, World!" (airing in 2019).
Page 37, panel 3
"Salvation, 1874" is a reference to the Legends of Tomorrow third season episode "The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly."
Page 37, panel 4
This panel appears to take place during the sixth season episode "Back to the Finale: Part II."

BUSTER GOLD: The Time Guardians finally catch up to Booster Gold and use the time-tested "Buster" to get his attention. (Calling Booster "Buster" has been a recurring gag since Booster Gold Volume 1 #1.)
Page 38, panel 7
The leader of the Time Guardian force is named Jurgens, obviously an homage to Booster Gold's creator, Dan Jurgens.
Page 38, panel 8
Jurgens confirms that the "real" Skeets of the Legends of Tomorrow Arrowverse is an artificial intelligence just as Skeets is on the more familiar Earth-0.

To find out what Jurgens wants Booster to do, watch the Legends of Tomorrow series finale.
