What We Could Have Seen
Sean Aitchison has written a think piece for CBR.com titled "Booster Gold Could Have Been The DCEU's Iron Man" in which he posits that, er, Booster Gold could have been the DCEU's Iron Man, by which he means that Booster would have been a good starting point to introduce audiences to the DC cinematic universe.
As a superhero who's from the future, Booster Gold's time traveler status could serve a greater purpose for the DCEU. We've already established that Booster would have made a great, low-stakes superhero to launch the DCEU franchise due to his similarities to Iron Man. However, there is something that Booster could have done for the DCEU that even Iron Man didn’t accomplish: Setting up the future, literally.
Obviously this didn't happen, and it's too late to happen now. But it sure is fun to think about.
And while we're on the subject of Booster Gold movies, you might want to check out Usama Massod's article at MoviePilot.com, "Everyone Knows The DCEU Is In Crisis — But Whatever Happened To The Standalone Booster Gold Movie We All Forgot About?" in which he discusses, er, whatever happened to the standalone Booster Gold movie that we have definitely NOT forgotten about. Short answer: no one knows.
