This could just be a generational thing. I'm old enough to remember the 80's and bought Booster Gold number one when it was fresh on the spinner rack (remember those?). The only wrong opinions would be liking the Extreme Justice armor or the Nu52 costume more than the classic costume.

I have to disagree on the generational thing. I'm a millennial (born in '88) and I like Booster's collar because I think it's rather unique.

I don't remember Elvis, nor am I a fan of his. I don't even really follow 'my' generation's hordes of boy bands. As a matter of fact, I didn't even discover comics til I was in college (the horror) and I tend to be very picky about which comics I like.

So, I think it's more a matter of opinion rather than being a generational viewpoint. But maybe that's just me.

I think Booster should have several slightly different, though similar outfits. This way he can sell more action figures.

If I say that between the really high collar and it's absence, I'd pick the brief folded-collar stint, like here http://kordindustries.blogspot.ca/2016/05/whos-who-88-justice-league-international.html ...will you run me off the website with pitchforks?

I personally prefer the collarless costume. that might stem from my getting into the character in Infinite Crisis and 52.

But I hope we can all agree that the new 52 costume is a disgrace.
